About this experience
Enjoy a 2-hour dining experience aboard *Cadhla*, an electric replica of a 19th-century Guinness barge, as you travel along Dublin’s Grand Canal.
The barge moves at a gentle canal pace, giving you time to enjoy the surroundings, have dinner, and talk with your companions.
Along the way, you can watch and engage with the crew as they open and close the historic timber lock gates by hand, a practice that dates back to when the canal was built over 200 years ago. Passing through the locks gives you a closer look at this canal tradition.
Enjoy a freshly prepared 3-course meal in the dining saloon, with your choice of a glass of house wine, a beer, or a soft drink included. You can also purchase additional drinks from the full bar, which offers beers, wines, and cocktails.
